Please note that the Prescription Ordering Direct service that operates for some of our GP practices in the area, has been limited today as a result of the severe weather conditions and travel issues that have affected our staff.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused. If you have experienced delays in getting through to our phone lines today, we thank you for your patience and understanding.
We have activated an answerphone message to inform anyone calling the service to contact their GP surgery directly in the first instance, and to visit their local pharmacy for emergency prescription requests only.
As always, people can call NHS 111 for urgent health advice. For more details of the locations and opening times of these services visit the Health Help Now website or download the app.
As soon as normal service is resumed, the answerphone message will be changed and this webpage will be updated above.
